Hello! I’m Douglas, and I live just outside Dufftown with my wife, daughter and our two cheeky rescue dogs.

Halcyon Carpentry is a small independent business run from my workshop. I specialise in unique, custom integrated furniture, as well as projects in hardwood. I take pride in offering an informal but professional service to those looking for something special. 

Past projects have ranged from a complete attic conversion which included oak panelling and bespoke oak wardrobes, to a pink and gold accented shoe rack, and I’m always keen to work on new and fun ideas. Have a look around the website for examples of my work.
